On this project, which was the first curved incrementally launched bridge in North America, CTE staff designed the temporary works including the launching nose and pier tie-back system. The scope also included the setup and launching procedures, as well as on-site supervision.

      • Maximum launch weight = 11,100 tons
      • Launched with two 1000 ton hydraulic jacks
      • Launched uphill against a 4% slope
